Castrillon is a council situated 25 km. from Gijon and 30 km. from Oviedo. It has 7 beaches, where it is possible to practice sports or walking on their white sand. The Beach of Bayas, 3 kilometres long, is diveded in two areas: El Sablon and the Playa de los Requexinos, this area is considered as a nudist by the council. There are very important dunes and an important nest spot in The isla de la Deva.
